Next Event – April 18. Woodhill Forest - Map called Stags Roar. Score event using electronic timing. Mass start at 11am – recommended arrival time – before 10:20am. From State Highway 16 beyond Waimauku follow the orienteering signs to forest entry and through the forest to the map. (Results for the first score event held at Weiti are given below.)

Following event – April 25 – South Auckland (a little north-west of Waiuku) – Map called Taurangaruru. Orienteering road signs to the map from Waiuku.

Both events are very suitable for all levels of orienteering. Suitable for new comers to experienced.

MURIWAI - 4 April Great to see such a lot of people out in the forest. A special welcome to those for whom it was a first forest event. We hope you enjoyed yourselves and look forward to seeing you back again. The map was a mixture of rather difficult underfoot conditions, finishing up in lovely open forest. Hopefully you enjoyed the variety and the more physical portions will stand those heading off to the Nationals or the North Island Secondary School Champs in good stead.
